Personnel and Training Primary Objectives
- To ensure only the most qualified individuals are hired for available positions
- To ensure all commissioned personnel receive the training they need to better protect and serve the citizens of Precinct 5 and are kept current on mandated TCLEOSE training hours

Additional Information:
- New hires receive eight weeks of field training. Once the field training program is successfully completed the deputy is qualified to perform their patrol duties as a one person unit
- All new hires start in patrol positions

- Completed applications may be mailed in to the attention of Sergeant Roesler or delivered to the Command Station
- After your application is turned in, a preliminary background investigation will be conducted. After successful completion of the background investigation you will be notified to appear for an initial interview
