On January 1, 2001 Ken Jones took office as Constable of Harris County Precinct 3 and he began his vision of creating a full service department that will enhance the service to the citizens of Precinct 3.

Constable Jones has established a closer contact with the citizens in the community and has become a law enforcement advocate for the citizens of Precinct 3. Constable Jones has established a marine division to assist in times of floods. This proved to be very effective with the arrival of Tropical Storm Allison which devastated much of the community of the Precinct 3 jurisdiction.

Constable Jones, a 35-year law enforcement veteran, began a campaign against the criminals in Precinct 3 when he took office and he will continue to maintain a proactive stance in the community by instituting professional and intensive deputy training programs.
