JOB TITLE:                  Paramedic / Medical Specialist

DEPARTMENT:            Community Supervision & Corrections

                                    Community Corrections Facility          -       Humble, Texas

HOURS:                       Up to 40-Hours /Various Shifts / Flexible

Possible Weekends & Holidays

SALARY:                     $3,640.00 per Month

                                    Based on 26 Pay Periods

EDUCATION/ JOB SKILLS: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and a graduate of an EMT-Paramedic program with National Registry and/or DSHS E.M.T. – Paramedic and CPR certifications are required. A valid driver's license or ID is required. (Must obtain a Texas driver’s license before date of hire)

EXPERIENCE:  One (1) year paid or volunteer experience as a paramedic with a 911 provider is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The successful candidate triages and treats minor to acute illnesses in a clinical environment.

PROOF OF PARAMEDIC AND CPR CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSE IS REQUIRED

EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT ON PASSING A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.
