Harris County Precinct 3 Mounted Patrol

The mission of the Precinct Three Mounted Patrol is to assist the Patrol Division activities, search and rescue community emergencies, specialized patrol functions and crime prevention. The Mounted Patrol Division falls under Precinct 3’s Emergency Response Team. Constable Ken Jones, who is also Mounted Patrol certified, has made comment "One good mounted deputy is worth five on the ground".
